Staff update - maddy’s new role

We’re delighted to share some exciting news — Maddy Bunker has recently been offered the role of Over 50s Development Practitioner (Hall Green) with Birmingham Vineyard, a post funded by the Body Mind Spirit Partnership. This is a community-based role operating from the church building where Birmingham Vineyard East Site meets.

Maddy has now finished her role as Compassion Coordinator to take up this new opportunity. We’re deeply thankful for all she has given — her heart, dedication, and passion have made a real difference in strengthening our church’s compassion ministry. We’re excited to see how this new community role will grow from East Site.

You may be wondering how Compassion Ministries will be overseen going forward. Compassion remains one of our core values as it's central to the mission and ministry of Jesus. Our hope is that we will all be able to play our part in extending God's love through our day-to-day lives and through the ministries that happen through our Church. For ways to get involved see the Compassion page on our website.

This term we’re taking time to consider the best way to resource and oversee this important area of church life.  In the meantime, our incredible Compassion volunteers will continue to make these ministries happen, supported by some essential administrative support while we discern the best next steps.  Please pray for us to have wisdom in decision making. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have specific questions.
