Faith And…

The Church and we as Christians do not operate in isolation, we live in a world, which presents challenges and asks difficult questions. As Christians, we are called to be salt and light in the world, and that requires engaging with the world and the challenges it presents.


We concluded the Faith And series this week, looking at what the Bible says about violence and what our role is as followers of Jesus when encountering violent acts or thoughts.

Life In The Spirit

Paul’s letter to the Corinthians (1 Corinthians) contains some of the most widely known Bible phrases about real love in action. We’re looking at how the Holy Spirit gifts us to love, serve and encourage one another so God’s people can all be built up.

This week we looked at 1 Corinthians 14 and what Paul writes about the gift of prophecy, and talked about how we as followers of Jesus can use prophecy to encourage others in our daily lives.

The Bible is a single, unified story about God, humanity and the world, that ultimately points its readers to Jesus. Genesis focuses on origins and our place in God’s universe. In this series we’ll be looking at the foundational themes and characters that emerge and provide the backdrop for God’s big story and our part in it.
