BV KIDS FAQS
Here are some answers to questions that you may be asking about Kids ministry at Birmingham Vineyard…
Is there always something for my children at every site or service?
Yes! There is Kids provision at every site and service. Occasionally throughout the year, we do have some all-age services where kids stay in the main service.
What happens during a Kids group session?
As a Kids & Families team, we aim to create spaces of encounter, enjoyment and equipping. This includes time to play together, worship, bible teaching and discussion, ministry time, craft and more.
Who looks after my kids?
Our amazing Kids team! The team have been through our recruitment, Safeguarding and DBS check processes, so they are all trained up and ready to welcome your kids.
Do I need to book onto a Kids session in order to attend?
No you don’t! You can sign your children in on arrival, and fill in a child registration form to get onto the list for next time.
How do I stay up to date with any BV Kids & Families news?
Make sure that you have filled in a connect form for yourself so that you are on our database, and you’ve filled in a child registration form for your children. This will ensure that you’ll be kept updated with any news or Kids-related events. Your children will also receive a birthday card each year!
My child has some specific needs, which means they may need extra support. Who do I talk to about this?
We want to make our church and our Kids groups as accessible as possible and don’t want there to be any barriers to your child getting involved. Please contact our Kids Pastor, Lauren, via email laurenm@birminghamvineyard.com, and she would love to chat things through with you.
Can I join the Kids team?
We’d love to hear from you! You can chat to the Kids team at your Site, or talk to your Site Pastors, or fill out a form on our Teams page.
I have more questions about this! Who do I ask?
Please contact our Kids Pastor, Lauren, laurenm@birminghamvineyard.com, and she would love to connect with you.
