His Story, Our Story

As we move into advent we are looking at some of the virtues that Jesus brings into our story.

Elaine ends our Advent series with the topic of hope and how (much like us) the shepherds were included in the story, even though they wouldn't normally have expected to be.

God's Grand Design

In this series we will be looking at the first 3 Chapters of Ephesians. Our desire is to better grasp who God is, all he has done for us and who we are as a result. In order that we might play our part in God’s Grand Design for our lives, this city and the Nations.

Adam concludes our series and encourages us that as our understanding of God's narrative grows, he will show us where we are to be involved in the renewal in our sphere of influence.

The Challenge of Change

As we've been going through a lot of change as a community we thought it would be a great moment to look at the Godly response to the challenges that change can bring.

When we encounter change we can look at it through a mindset of faith or of fear, if we recognise our Son/Daughtership in God we begin to understand how much good God will bring through change.

Nehemiah: Bringing Life to the City

 

As we start the new year with our new name, we also have a new vision for where we think God is taking us as a church. In this series we'll be looking at the book of Nehemiah and how it relates to us as a church in Birmingham.

This week we got the whole church together for a great big celebration in one service, massive thanks to Birmingham Christian Centre for being such amazing hosts!
